Recruiting Participants for “RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE 2025”!

ーRide across Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Gate Bridge on a bicycle!ー

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is now accepting applications for “RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE,” a ride event for cycling across Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Gate Bridge to be held on Sunday, December 7. We have prepared a more attractive course, such as adding Umi-no-Mori Park, which opened in March this year.

（４）How to apply

Duplicate applications are not allowed.
Please note that if you submit duplicate applications under multiple accounts, your application will be cancelled at the discretion of the Secretariat.
If there is an incomplete or incorrect entry, please cancel your provisional application from My Page and re-apply. (This can only be done during the application period.)

（５）Others

・This ride event is for enjoyment, not a competition for good rankings or times.
・Each course has several long uphill slopes, such as an average slope of 5% that lasts about 1.5 km.
・Participants can use bicycles equipped with multiple gears or an electric power-assist system. (Tandem bicycles are also allowed)
・Traffic regulations will been forced in the vicinity of courses on the day of the event (details to be announced in the future). We ask for your cooperation.

*Rainbow Bridge Ride and Multisport are scheduled to be held with the cooperation of the Metropolitan Expressway Company Limited, Bicycle Utilization Promotion Headquarters, local municipalities, related organizations, and others.。

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has acquired the “UCI BIKE CITY LABEL” certified by the International Cycling Union (UCI). The “UCI BIKE CITY LABEL” is recognized by the UCI as a city or region that is pioneering bicycle initiatives, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is the first city in the East Asian region to receive the label. In cooperation with UCI and other certified cities, we will further promote sports projects that utilize bicycles and create an environment where everyone can use bicycles safely and comfortably

本事業は、「推しスポーツProject」の一環です。「推しスポーツProject」とは、2025年に東京で開催される世界陸上・デフリンピックの開催を機に都民が様々なスポーツに親しむ機会を創出し、スポーツの魅力に触れる中で「都民一人ひとりの好みや特性に合ったスポーツの楽しさ（推しスポーツ）」を発見してもらえるよう支援する取組です。

This project is a part of the “TSUISHI SPORTS PROJECT. The “Recommended Sports Project” is an initiative to create opportunities for Tokyo residents to become familiar with various sports on the occasion of the World Championships in Athletics and the Deaflympics to be held in Tokyo in 2025, and to help them discover “the joy of sports that match the preferences and characteristics of individual Tokyo residents (Recommended Sports)” as they experience the appeal of sports. This is an initiative to support the enjoyment of sports that match the preferences and characteristics of individual Tokyoites.
