Q. What kind of business is GRAND CYCLE TOKYO?
A.

In order to make eco-friendly and healthy bicycles even more accessible, we are comprehensively promoting various bicycle-related events as part of the "GRAND CYCLE TOKYO" project. We hold "RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE" and "MULTISPORTS" in the Bay area, and "THE ROAD RACE TOKYO," an International bicycle road race, in the Tama area.

Q. When will Rainbow Bridge Ride 2026 / Multisports be held?
A.

It will be held on Monday (National Holiday), November 23, 2026.

Q. Where is the venue?
A.

Rainbow Bridge Ride 2026 is scheduled to take place in Odaiba Kaihin Park (nearest station: Daiba Station), passing through Umi no Mori, Wakasu, and etc. MULTISPORTS events are scheduled to be held in the Aomi NOP Area.

Q. What kind of event is Rainbow Bridge Ride 2026?
A.

This is a special event where you can ride your bike on the Rainbow Bridge (Metropolitan Expressway Daiba Line), which is usually off-limits to cyclists. There are three types of course to suit all abilities, from cycling enthusiasts to families: Long (approx. 36 km), Middle (approx. 20 km) and Short (approx. 8 km).

Q. Could you please tell me about the features of each course?
A.

The middle and short course allows you to ride on the Rainbow Bridge (Metropolitan Expressway Daiba Line), while the long course allows you to ride on the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo Gate Bridge.

Q. Please tell me the participation fee.
A.

It varies depending on the course and the age of the participants.

Adults (18 years and older):
Long course: 15,000 JPY ; Middle course: 8,000 JPY ; Short course: 6,000 JPY

3rd grade elementary school to 3rd grade high school:
Long course: 7,500 JPY ; Middle course: 4,000 JPY ; Short course: 3,000 JPY

VIP:
Long or Middle course: 55,000 JPY

Q. How can I participate?
A.

Please select and apply for either the general entry, local priority entry, or VIP entry from the Guide for Participants Page.

Q. Can I enter as a group?
A.

Applications are accepted for groups of 2 to 6 people.
Please note that there are no discounts for group applications.

Q. Can I enter with more than 7 people?
A.

You cannot enter more than 7 people in the same group. You will need to apply in two or more groups.

Q. Is it possible for members of the same group who have entered to run different courses?
A.

The entire group will ride the same course.

Q. Can I cancel after paying the participation fee (after payment)?
A.

Cancellations and refunds of participation fees after payment are not possible for any reason.

Q. Can participants be replaced or transfer their participation rights after paying the participation fee (after payment)?
A.

Participants cannot be replaced, and participation rights cannot be transferred.

Q. Can I bring my bicycle on public transportation?
A.

The following public transportation options are available near the venue. (*Quoted from the official website) For transportation other than those listed below, please inquire directly.

▼Yurikamome Line
Bicycles must be completely packed in a bicycle bag and can be brought into the train if they are less than 2 meters long. However, bicycles may not be allowed on the train during times of congestion.

▼Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit Rinkai Line
You may board with bicycles provided that they are folded or disassembled, placed completely in a designated bag, and do not cause inconvenience to other passengers.

Q. Can I participate by renting a bicycle?
A.

When you register, we will ask if you would like to rent a bicycle. We can prepare bicycles for 1,500 JPY per bicycle (including helmet).

Q. Is it mandatory to wear a helmet?
A.

The Road Traffic Law requires cyclists to make every effort to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.
However, Rainbow Bridge ride 2026 considers the safety of all participants to be its top priority.
We require you to wear a helmet for your own safety in case of an accident.

Q. Can I rent just a helmet?
A.

Helmets only are not available for rent. Please bring your own helmet.

Q. Can I charge my electric bicycle at the venue?
A.

There are no charging facilities at the venue. If you are participating with an electric assist bicycle, please make sure it is fully charged before arriving.

Q. Please tell me the eligibility requirements.
A.

Rainbow Bridge Ride 2026 is an event open to anyone in the third year or above of elementary school.
However, participants must be able to complete each course within the estimated time limit, be in good health, and be able to ride safely without overexerting themselves.

▼First and second year of elementary school graders:
⇒Not eligible to participate.

▼Third to Sixth year of elementary school graders:
⇒One parent or guardian (adult 18 years of age or older) must participate when accompanying a child.

▼Minors (under 18 years old):
⇒ Participation requires parental consent.

▼Preschoolers
⇒ Only those who are healthy, can ride safely without overexertion, and are accompanied by a guardian may participate. Preschoolers may ride on a specific vehicle (electric-assist bicycle with a child seat) with one preschooler per vehicle. Helmets and seatbelts must be worn at all times while riding.

Q. Who is eligible to apply for local priority quota?
A.

Those who live, work, or study in Minato Ward or Koto Ward can apply for local priority quota when registering.

When applying as a group
If all members live, work, or study in Minato Ward or Koto Ward, they will be given priority.
