In order to make eco-friendly and healthy bicycles even more accessible, we are comprehensively promoting various bicycle-related events as part of the "GRAND CYCLE TOKYO" project.

We hold "RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE" and "MULTISPORTS" in the Bay area, and "THE ROAD RACE TOKYO," an International bicycle road race, in the Tama area.

We are pleased to announce that Ami Inamura and So Takei have been appointed as GRAND CYCLE TOKYO 2026 Ambassadors.
They will convey the charm of bicycles and Tokyo to the world and to everyone.

Pick Up PICK UP

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the GRAND CYCLE TOKYO Executive Committee have entered into a partnership agreement with Bike New York, the largest cycling event in the Northern Hemisphere held annually in New York City, USA.
We will collaborate to foster mutual development of the events and cultivate friendly relations between the two parties.
Bike New York CEO Kenneth Podziba and COO Andrew Gould also participated in Rainbow Ride 2025.

In September 2024, The Tokyo Metropolitan Government was awarded the "UCI BIKE CITY" label by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The UCI BIKE CITY label is for cities and regions that are pioneering cycling initiatives, and Tokyo is the first city in the East Asia region to receive it. In cooperation with the UCI and other members of the UCI Bike City and Region network, we will further promote sports projects that utilize bicycles and advance the creation of an environment where all people can enjoy cycling safely and comfortably.
